Review on Ruvihya Portable 15.6" Touchscreen Monitor with 10-Point Touch, 60Hz, Flicker-Free, Frameless Design, Built-In HD Speakers by Slava Baltimore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good screen quality, very thin.

This screen is about 76mm thick at its thinnest point, and about twice as thick at the bottom where the inputs are located. The screen is of good quality and clear. I love that it can run on USB 5V, but that can be tricky if the USB power isn't enough to provide enough current (mA). According to the product description, I should have gotten a mini HDMI to HDMI to USB-C cable. to a USB-C cable, but my box had 2 mini-HDMI to HDMI cables and 0 USB-C to USB-C cables. Could this be a production error? I can't test the pure USB-C functionality (none of my existing cables will fit). The manual is a little lacking, it gives basic information on two different models, one of which is this one. This does NOT explain the menu, for example what the "OD" function is or why the entire preset section of the menu (FPS, Movie, etc.) is unimplemented and unresponsive to touch. (Update: the presets work but I swear they didn't when I tried them before writing the review. I tried with a computer connected but it seems to work with my Xbox connected.) Overall the screen is good but QA seems to be lacking Because I got the wrong set of cables, another reviewer had a DoA, and the configuration menu is completely undocumented. But if you can get a working one, it's beautiful, thin, sleek and energy efficient. I can run it and a 10w mini pc for hours on a 100w battery.
