The whole system is worth the money and hiring a $60-90 cable installer to install the I. Grounding I-cable takes 20 minutes to be good. We love the educational aspect of this system and the ease of use to get your dogs into your yard. The only major issues I have are with the collar devices and the main control box. I will solve small problems that quickly become big problems. Collar devices have a slight disadvantage as the rubber tab that goes over the charging port makes the devices waterproof instead of durable and breaks easily and quickly. Not a big problem for one of our dogs, but the other loves the water. I'm sure his collar will be destroyed in a year. I bought the water repellent spray they use on Apple and Samsung phones to make them waterproof to 30ft and we'll see how that helps. The dog collar is also inconsequential in some ways, but the main control box consumes the worst I've ever had. spring-loaded control clips are visible. Clamps have trouble holding cables, and springs and plastic switch tabs keep falling out, rendering the protection useless until carefully secured. My only thought is that it needs a serious redesign. If so, then this fence would easily score a 5 for product value. I may have received an early model of the fence and the company has updated the controller since I purchased the fence in Fall 2019 and installed it in Spring 2020. If they track me down and send a new control box. Otherwise I will hot glue the fence wires to keep them from falling out.
