Review on Dorman 742 122 Window Lift Motor by Chris Smotherman

Ordered this 12V DC Electric Window Regulator Motor from Dorman for a DIY project to build a lightweight, low profile, high torque aquarium regulator - beast! At 5 amps it can easily lift a 25 lb device, I'm not sure what it can do at full current rating. I will definitely use power window motors for my homemade elevators for other tanks. For those interested: The shank diameter is 8mm and it fits perfectly on 8mm clamps/shaft couplings. After that, you can get your shaft, support blocks, DC PWM controller, etc. I would definitely recommend this pup based on the performance and features.
