On the Fence best in my review

I really want to like this product, I love the color and texture. It's very thick and forgiving as far as surface prep goes. It covers a lot of imperfections of the surface. One huge problem is how to apply it. Brush , roll or spray. I tried them all and got terrible to bad results.Bushing does not result in desired texture as you can see the brush strokes.Rolling is not good either. The texture some in nice and uniform but you can see "vacuum" style lines in the paint, it does slightly fade as the paint sets but still very noticable. This would be great if the roller can cover the whole surface in 1 stroke. Rollers can also leave bubbles in the paint.Spraying, used both 1.4 and 1.8 tip, is not great. It is VERY hard to get a constant pattern. There are very visible lines. I got the best results with the 1.8 tip with very low pressure and overlapping by 2/3. It is also possible to get runs so try to avoid fixing dry spots. If the paint is not sprayed on thick the layer will not have a nice sheen to it. It us difficult balance between coverage, texture, sheen without runs or sagging. After 2 pints I still have not found a method I am happy with. I am going to try 2 maybe 3 layers. The 1st for coverage and 2nd for texture and sheen.
