Review on 🧹 First4spares Red Canister Button Release Catch Clips for Dyson DC41, DC43 Vacuum Cleaner Cyclone Assembly by Stacy Sturm

The replacement is great but is about 70% the thickness of the original Dyson and the plastic isn't as hard. When the button is pressed to release the bottom of the canister, this part flexes and slides along the actuating rod. Even after lubricating the remaining sliding parts, it was not possible to stay in line and open the lid in at least half the cases. I'm not sure why they made it so thin, there can't even be a dime difference to make it as thick as the original. Must try another brand as Dyson doesn't seem to supply this part alone, or try going thicker with JB Weld
