Review on Keyless 2004 2006 2007 2009 2006 2008 HYQ12BBT by Tyler Cooley

I've tried every method I could find online to program this unit myself but none of them worked on our 2009. I had the key cut by a local locksmith and it will unlock the car and turn it on (won't start) but neither the transponder nor the keyless entry programming instructions work with the electronics in the purchased unit. Luckily, the problem with the old key was that the metal part of the key had chipped away from the case, so I was able to just pop the working electronics out of the original broken Lexus key and put them in the new one I had cut out. and it works fine.
