Review on 🏌️ Unleash Your Golfing Potential with Titleist Pro V1 Golf Balls by Andrew Krishna

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Durability but price

The ProV1 is easily the #1 golf ball on the planet. And not for nothing. People see so many pros getting paid $100,000 to $1 million a season for playing with the ball so they buy them believing the ball will help their game. (Secret: it's not a ball). But it's also a very, very good golf ball. But is it worth nearly $50 a dozen? I'm not sure. I have 4 handicaps and have been playing for 25 years. I've played everything from those balls to $20 Wilson for a dozen checkers. And I found that the difference between ProV1 and, say, Titleist's mid-range Velocity is small. Yes, the ProV feels softer off the club and putter, but here's another secret: Velocity definitely moves further away from the driver, and while the ProV1 has a slight advantage on the green, it's SMALL. But the reason my rating is 4 stars and not 2 or 3 is because the ProV1 balls dominate one category - consistency. I have played thousands of holes with ProV1 balls over the years and the ball is ALWAYS the same. Is always. I just can't say that about Callaway, Srixon, Taylor or even other Titleist balls. Their own Velocity and TourSoft don't have as much ball-to-ball consistency as the ProV1. I know exactly what I'm getting with every hit or hit with ProV. However, I'm currently playing Velocity because it's almost half the price and, as I said, the difference in spin around the green is minimal and I adjust accordingly. . I like getting nearly 2 dozen velocities for the price of a single box of ProV, and while the ball will be very volatile at times, it's worth the risk to me - it might happen 1 or 2 out of a few dozen balls. If you have money, play with these balls, but if money matters, there are absolutely cheaper golf balls that can score just as well.
