appears to be a remanufactured part It appears to have more structural rigidity. Based on other Revain reviews I ordered this and agree with what most others have said. It's pretty expensive for such a small piece of plastic (many cell phones are cheaper these days), but replacing a dishwasher would be significantly more. After watching a 2 minute YouTube video, I was able to easily repeat the process without further explanation. First turn off the power at the switch block. Then unscrew the Torx T20 screws from the inside of the door, except for the two next to the latch. Then slowly move these two items back just enough to open the door and prevent the switch from falling. Then simply loosen the old one and replace it with the new one, paying attention to the orientation of the latch. Now put everything back together and turn on the circuit breaker. And remember to always check the details before ordering as well as upon arrival. Installing a new dishwasher is expensive and time-consuming. With this switch, all I had to do was turn off the power and unscrew the door. It was fully repaired in less than 5 minutes without having to disassemble the dishwasher or wait for a handyman.
