Allowed me to restore my wireless laptop through Server 2012 Essentials

I have a Dell XPS laptop/tablet that is backed up daily by my home server running Server 2012 Essentials. I can usually do a full system restore on all my other computers using a bootable USB drive, but recently when I tried to restore my XPS I couldn't connect to the server. (The XPS only has a wireless connection and I went insane trying to find various drivers that would work.) With this adapter plugged into a second USB port, I booted the XPS into the recovery environment and used it then the option "Load driver". to load the driver I copied to another USB drive. I found the drivers on the supplied CD (Drivers > Windows > Win8 Installation > Program Files > TRENDnet, inc > Windows 8 Drivers > 64-bit). I was then able to connect to my server and fully restore my XPS for $15. I am very happy with this solution. I also had a similar problem trying to fix an Intel NUC with an Ethernet port, but again finding the right driver is very difficult. I am sure that I could easily use this adapter on the NUC as well.
