It does not detect STUD through drywall 5/8

I just received this unit today. I bought it based on Revain's good reviews. I'm completely disappointed that it doesn't show any obvious nub markings on my drywall. My old zircon can tell. To return. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT TO LOOK FOR SPIKES

Pros

Non-contact AC voltage detection (50-600 VAC) at a maximum depth of 3.5-0.5 inch drywall. Scans and locates wood or metal studs up to 0.75" deep.
