Did the ridge trick work
I ordered these in desperation trying to get the pivot pins out of a GMT400 (99) Suburban. There is hardly any information about this on YouTube and Google. I tried several drill bits and custom made tools to try and get the pins out. The drills were semi-successful, but due to the hardness of the pins, the drills quickly dulled and could not finish the job. I was skeptical because of the country of origin and the cheap price, but they gnawed at the needle like it didn't exist. I only saw a slight chipping of some burrs and even after a few snags they held and finished the job.
