Review on TAVOLOZZA Adjustable Floor Easel Stand For Painting And Display - Solid Beech Wood, 61" To 84" Height, Holds Canvas Up To 46 by Petr Webster

Surprisingly Good for my opinion

I knew this would be a small easel from the other reviews. It seems sturdy so far. I was able to place a canvas board of at least 12x16 on it horizontally and it remained stable when i taped a 9x12 vertical piece of watercolor paper to the panel and then painted a WC on it. Knowing that the feet of the easel might slip, I bought some inexpensive, small, self-adhesive rubber feet and stuck them onto the bottom of the legs prior to painting and placed it all on a table. That worked like a charm. It was a great and fast solution to getting a painting done in tme for a deadline when I had no access to my regular, standing easels. I was not particularly gentle and had no problems with stability or balance. It arrived very quickly (which was especially helpful) and the packaging was appropriate. It worked out very well and the price was great. I will be able to use it easily (no pun intended) at home or when attending workshops as long as tables are available.

Pros
  • This fits perfectly for my canvas, can’t wait to start using it
Cons
  • Due to the heaviness of the unit, regular maintenance, cleaning, and oiling of the components may be challenging and time-consuming
