Review on Haloview Backup Camera Adapter Bracket Compatible with Furrion Pre-Wired RVs by Quinton Wonsley

Revainrating 1 out of 5

It would be 5 stars, but.

I'm always curious when people design things they've obviously never used. As others have said. You cannot tilt the camera far enough to use it as a backup camera while driving. I can see a few car lengths behind me, but it would be better if I could set it where I wanted. Let's face it, I only want a face down bumper view on the freeway 1% of the time and a rearview mirror 99% of the time. So as a replacement for the Furrion, I'd still take it, but you'll be in your basement improvising this thing if you want a useful rear view. Too bad it turned out almost perfect. The antenna on the camera will hit the mount if you try to tilt it too high. After trying to change this I may just make my own.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Boring packaging
