Haloview Backup Camera Adapter Bracket Compatible with Furrion Pre-Wired RVs Review

I almost bought the Furrion on my caravan first as it came from the factory with an installation point. The reality is that Furrion pays your van manufacturer to "just let it in the door". When it came time to get the camera, I decided to make some progress. I found that the Haloview MC7108 not only has the best image quality, but can also be installed with Furrion holes using an adapter. I saved over $250 on an excellent product, couldn't be happier.

I bought this "just in case" because some reviews of the Haloview MC7108 rear camera said the included bracket was too short. Will not fit my 2020 Chaparral Furrion fin mount. Although I was a bit disappointed it was only $10 and I will still be using it I just didn't want to drill any more holes. To be honest the camera needs to be screwed on instead of using the original screws. There is no fixed screw-in support and the weight of the camera bouncing down the freeway will eventually rip the 4 screws out of the thin outer casing. What some reviewers don't realize is that this adapter isn't designed to adapt to Furrion's "cobra head" plastic cover on the back of the RV. The Cobra head needs to be removed and then installed on the gasket that was behind the Cobra head. I can see a few car lengths behind me, but it would be better if I could set it where I wanted. I have used this with a Xroose rear view camera: UTF8&psc=1 My travel trailer was prepared with the domed plastic mount for the Furrion camera pre-installed on most trailers.
