The first drive I got took discs and read them perfectly, but when I tried to eject the disc the drive made a noise like it was trying to push some kind of latch and reload the disc the ride. At first I thought my DVD was hopeless and was constantly being eaten by the drive, but I found that if I tip the drive upside down and try to eject it, the discs come out! In any case, I didn't want to rely on it every time because 1. it's inconvenient/what I paid for and 2. there is a risk of damaging the drive/drive. I contacted the seller and he immediately sent me a brand new drive which arrived in a few days and works great! Great work by the seller, for which I am very grateful. 4/5 only because of original defective drive.
