Review on SuLiao Magnetic Hourglass Minute Timer Kitchen & Dining by Melinda Oliver

I bought this to use as a visual reminder to get up from the desk and exercise/take a break every hour. The hourglass is relatively stable at 43 minutes. I really wanted the full 60 minutes for the reason above, but 43 would work about the same. Construction is reasonable, seems a little cheap for what I paid ($40), it was crooked but was easily fixed if you loosen the screws at the top or bottom to adjust. There are white spacers used to soften windows damaged by crooked arrival. It would be nice if the pads matched the color of the sand so they don't stand out so much. The timer is held in place by screws holding it together. There are small nicks on the screws that can damage the wooden table if there is nothing underneath, I just use a piece of fabric I had lying around. The screws look pretty bad, it would be nice to have simple thumb screws instead of Phillips/pan head screws. In general everything is fine. There are very few options for the 60 minute hourglass and I'll live with that for a while, but I can bring it back.
