Having a large collection of Bosch tools (18V and 12V ranges and their chainsaw which is not available in the US), I thought I would just expand their range of storage solutions; Sortimo/L Boxx. This unit was purchased to house my collection of Kreg screws and other small items such as bit holders, spare bits and blades, and my must have goggles. As far as parts storage goes, I think Bosch could do better with containers. First, only the gray baskets have removable dividers, and every other compartment is a separate basket. As far as customization goes, there's not much you can do I'm afraid. Using only the center baffles allows me to install about 400 1-1/4" screws in the bay; about 800 screws per compartment, 1600 total. β Gray; half of the compartment is also suitable for eye protection (no glasses) - Green; a set of Bosch percussion bits in her case. Only one block fits in here. Shame as I have 2 other Bosch sets in similar cases - blue; Space for medium-length screwdrivers and bit holders - orange; longer drills with more room for more - yellow; longer pocket-hole screws up to 2-1/2" long. approx. 30-50 readings - Red; are currently blank as they are too small for anything but very thin nails, studs and screws in the less than 3/4" category " are (depending on the size, 50-100 pieces should fit). I am concerned that there are not enough removable dividers. and what i feel is too many small subjects, but like i said, different people have different needs. I also don't understand how the same set costs more without the containers. That seems illogical. In terms of build quality, the polymer used seems very thick and strong, but it's too little of it and I would suspect it would tear if dropped from waist height; it's not that I'm the type to abuse my tools. Work for larger parts but I'll bet the smaller pins on the plate that I use a lot move between bays and containers as I noticed there weren't any dents from pressing the containers. Raise hopper slightly for good compaction and fill in foam. I'm a fisherman and if like me you hate a messy tackle box then this is an important question to ask as the idea of organizing is to spend as little time as possible looking for parts so we can spend more time on the water can spend projects . Sorry for the long review but I'm sure this will be useful for some information. English is not my mother tongue. So if something is unclear, I would be happy to answer your opinion on it. Update - I've dropped this case twice, both times when it was fully loaded with screws. and other small details. The locks remained closed, there was no leak. I winced when it happened, expecting to be on my knees collecting screws, but it was nice to see I was late. No cracks or chips either.
