Finally organized

Serious carpenter and furniture maker (hobby) for 30 years. Have an extensive collection of Screws, Bolts, Nuts, Washers, Hinges etc. My philosophy is to buy in bulk in the most suitable sizes so I always have what I need. Over the years I've bought many types of racks and boxes, as well as ordinary empty plastic food containers. This is a "new " L-Boxx design, not the original

I have four L-Boxx (one 1A with compartments, three L-Boxx 2). Even though the picture shows an old/original L-Boxx, all four boxes were a new recycled box. Others have pointed out issues with the new design, but to sum it up, they've moved the attachment mechanism from the frame to the lid. This allows the user to open the box even if other boxes are attached to it. The old box couldn't do that. While this may seem like a plus to you, it comes with negative consequences. Good box but the price is very high for what it is

My tools became unwieldy and took up the entire work area and the clutter became incomparable with my mismatched storage boxes, bags, drawers, suitcases, etc d. etc. - probably a familiar image for anyone studying this topic. Cannot meet everyone's needs. strange pricing.

Having a large collection of Bosch tools (18V and 12V ranges and their chainsaw which is not available in the US), I thought I would just expand their range of storage solutions; Sortimo/L Boxx. This unit was purchased to house my collection of Kreg screws and other small items such as bit holders, spare bits and blades, and my must have goggles.
