Review on Enhance Comfort & Performance with GM Genuine Parts 22834330 Cabin Air Temperature Sensor Aspirator by Lance Foster

ACDelco Air Temperature Sensor Aspirator failed after 3 months

I bought it back on 7th December 2018. Easy enough to install and fix my HVAC problem (for at least 3 months). ). I could only get 60 degrees or 90 degrees, nothing in between (60 degrees on my digital thermostat gets very cold, 61 to 90 gets very hot). After a lot of research I found out that this could be a problem so I ordered it. It came in a few days and I installed it straight away, problem solved! I've had hot, cold, and everything in between now. Until yesterday. Now it's back to it's old tricks / So I took it off to clean it but it was spotless so I just blew it and put it back in, same thing just hot or cold. Then I tapped the headliner where it is located and suddenly it started working. I set the temp to 75 and it cooled, but not too cold like it should. But as soon as I changed the temperature up or down, it got very hot again. I have just emailed the manufacturer as it is still under warranty. I will edit my review later if necessary. EDIT: I must have just received a bad sensor. The replacement came (guarantee) and has been working great ever since. It happens that you get a bad sensor from time to time, I understand. I've been a mechanic/painter and body builder for over 40 years and have seen broken parts many times so I don't get too upset. Thanks for the quick warranty service.
