Came with fluid (it was red, like ATP, which this car needs as power steering fluid). The electrical connection clip on the back was broken when I got it so I cut it off and spliced it back to the original. All holes were present and properly tapped, but the pump housing did not fit into the bracket. I had to shave off about 1/32" of the back with an angle grinder to get it to fit. The pump hasn't given me any problems for about 8000 miles / 5 months. The pump howled like it was dying. I put a stethoscope on it and it sounded pretty sloppy. Maybe it was a bad rework, or it could have died from something in the power steering system, but I'm definitely not happy with the power steering pump, which has a lifespan of less than 10,000 miles.
