Firstly, this kit allows you to precisely drill holes for mounting furniture hardware, which is commonly used by Ikea and other companies to assemble finished furniture. Details are high quality, the settings are easy. Locating the dowel hole from the board edge is particularly easy and precise. There are indentations every 2mm and no measurable (digital caliper) when changing the setting and then back again. This jig is a dream for joining the edges of boards. The biggest problem with this set is that you have to figure out how to use it yourself. The video shows how the pieces fit together, but it's not as clear how everything is set up to install furniture connecting cam fittings. Have plenty of practical examples to experiment with before committing to a real project. Once you have everything set up and comfortable, installing a furniture connector only takes a few minutes. Overall, the design and detailing is superb. Everything fits together exactly as it should and the attachment is strong and rigid. Some reviews complained that the drill guides were of poor quality. The ones I received were initially tight but worked well. I was able to manually pierce them with a drill and they quickly come loose with use. One of the downsides was the 15mm Forstner bit that came with the kit. It was poorly designed and simply erased the footage without cutting it. It just didn't work on MDF. I swapped it out and got good results. Overall this is a good buy if you need to install those cam connectors.
