Review on Saris Solo Trunk Mounted Black by Dale Rylander

I drive a VW Jetta and a Liv racing bike. I bought it thinking it would be great to transport my bike but I returned it without putting my bike on it. The instructions were simple and installation was easy, but I couldn't pull the straps tight enough. The trunk then goes almost straight up out of the trunk. This means that while transporting the bike, I damaged the bike's pedal and scratched the car. Sure I could buy the stuffing that Saris sells and wait for it to arrive knowing my bike pedal might be spared, but my car will likely get damaged anyway OR I can return it for a different brand name bike rack.
