The lock is the perfect replacement for the tool box in the bed of my pickup truck. The old lock on it wouldn't turn with a key, so I had to remove the deadbolt and pull out the old block. This device got up without any problems and has worked flawlessly. I can pull on the lid of my box like a possessed chimpanzee and it won't move at all. The key opens the lock with little resistance, locking and unlocking as intended with no problems. Feels sturdy, easily justifies the cost for the price. Ease of installation. Would definitely buy it again.
