Worked great, solved a problem that a similar product didn't. -- The fixed issue is below --I have a UHD display (2160p) on my laptop that I use to drive a UHD monitor. I want to be able to play movies on my laptop and watch them on my big 1080p TV. When I connect my UHD laptop directly to a 1080p TV it works fine (via USB-C to HDMI-2 cable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06X971KYH/). If I plug this cable into an HDMI splitter (https://amazon.com/gp/product/B071LPLGG9) and connect two HDMI 2 cables (https://amazon.com/gp/product/B014I8SSD0) to the splitter : both cables will display a signal on a UHD display, neither cable will display a signal on a 1080p TV.
