is easy to use and works great. a very simple, low-cost dual-screen solution. We used them for a party at the Kentucky Derby where we had 2 TVs spread across two rooms. We had a "remote" TV about 10 feet from the box - as far as I could tell there was no signal degradation. If you can hide the HDMI cable it would be a great way to have one cable/satellite box permanently control two wall mounted TVs in adjacent rooms. You can watch both or just one of the TVs.

This is exactly what I need. I only have one HDMI output from my receiver and needed to split it into a TV and projector for a home theater setup. I only use 1080p not 4k so can't speak to the 4k functionality but for 1080p content it works great. There is NO problem with my receiver recognizing downstream devices. NO image quality issues (no flickering, color, brightness, clarity, etc.). I definitely recommend it.

Didn't work for me. I have an Apple 4K TV and I was trying to cast an Apple 4K TV to a Sony 4K TV and a 1080P TV. No matter what I did, I couldn't get a 4K signal on my 4K TV. Spent many hours trying to figure it out. As far as I understand, this doesn't support multiple permissions, i.e. one TV is 4K and the other is 1080P. Initially, the splitter did not recognize any of the HDMI outputs. The instructions weren't clear when I could only see one screen at a time or both. After unplugging the power cord from the box several times, the box was able to see both HDMI outputs, the green LEDs were lit and both screens were visible.
