I have two sets of joymins and both had drift issues. The first 2 times I was lucky they were still under Nintendo's warranty but that's no longer the case so buying these replacement parts really helped. Taking my joy con apart wasn't the easiest thing, but it was doable if I was very careful. This part is slightly smaller than the original joystick, but not so noticeable that it changes the feel of the game. Being slightly smaller made it easier to replace as the original joystick caused a struggle when exiting. I believe the smaller size may affect the use of some non-standard grommets. I never use them, so I can't say for sure. In general I am satisfied with the spare part for the price. Other spare parts will also send you the screwdriver you need to disassemble the controllers, but it will cost a little more in the long run. I didn't need it as I kept a few tiny screwdrivers from other electronics I had repaired and I hate getting more when I don't need them. It always seems like a waste of time when I have 9 identical small screwdrivers, but I only use one. The bottom line is this is an economical replacement and I will update this review when I need my next possible replacement so I can give them a sense of durability. Unfortunately, due to the nature of these sticks, it doesn't seem like they'll last long without issues.
