The quality of the thermometer is excellent. This is the third food thermometer I've used and by far the best. Easy to use and keep clean. Very accurate, all the necessary information is printed on the front of the device. The fact that an additional battery is included in the scope of delivery is a nice touch. Trying to pick up batteries can sometimes be difficult. The back of the device is also magnetic so you can store it on the fridge to avoid losing it in the kitchen drawer. I suggested it to my son who just bought it. You will not regret this purchase!
