I bought 2 strings of lamps and plugged them in as soon as I got them and it worked. Today I stood on the roof and pulled them out, immediately 2 bulbs didn't work (I made sure they weren't loose) so I replaced them before getting off the roof. Came home tonight and blew 4 bulbs. I will not get out the extension ladder and replace it now. We'll have to wait until Christmas is over and we have good weather to get back on the roof. Too bad too, because you look good. Now I have to buy replacement bulbs (and they don't just sell the red, green and white ones from what I found) which is why I gave it such a bad bang for the buck. updated 14.12. There are no more lightbulbs. I wouldn't buy them lest you get stuck like me.
