After needing a guest room fountain and wanting something with light and the sound of running water, I settled on The Perfect Fountain. At first I was scared. Most of the reviews were good, but the ones that weren't scared me to death. It arrived in 2 days and I find it very attractive and the design is so beautiful. I often sleep in the guest room because my husband snores. I walk in, plug it in and the soothing sound of the water and the light dancing on the ceiling lulls me to sleep. I placed some pebbles where the lights should be to dim the lighting a bit, but other than that it's perfect. I use distilled water to avoid mineral deposits. It should be. UPDATE: I'm still living it. It still looks and sounds great. A bit bulky to clean, but if you clean it monthly and use distilled water, the fountain will give you crystal clear water and soothing sounds.
