As mentioned in other reviews, this is a miniature watch. And that's why I love it so much! I'm a petite woman and I hate carrying a huge object on my wrist for scratching and hooking. Agree the date is a bit difficult to read even with a magnifying glass bubble in the glass. I don't have to check the date that often, so it doesn't bother me. This watch is small and well made. If you like big watches this is not for you. However, if you want features and style in a more compact and convenient package then this is a solid choice.
