The first sign of concern was the roll which was still sticky. Came in a giant "sandwich bag" with no wax cases or containers. Expanding was ok and making the right length for the application. However, despite a successful project to use it for a pair of doors, later testing revealed problems. - Adhesive seeps through foam after compression - Sticks to non-adhesive area - Door has been practically glued - Door opening paint has peeled off non-adhesive side - Temperature change seems to affect adhesive properties - Waterproof only if it acts uniformly in all areas if it doesn't stick to everything else . I would suggest using it on metal and bare surfaces and mainly for insulation if you're not worried about the looks. Sheds, containers etc. I think sometimes you have to pay more to get better and this is one of those things.
