Works great once your printer is dialed in

I'm new to 3D printing but my Voxelab Aquila printed PLA well out of the box so I decided to try PETG for more structural elements. So I bought black and transparent from this manufacturer. When the slides arrived I loaded the roll and started printing test towers. It turned out that 235-240 °C was good, so I started printing Benchy. complete garbage. There are cords everywhere that separate from the bed. Return to the drawing board. I checked the temperature of my bed with a scanner: 65°C when the machine showed 80°C, so I increased the temperature to 90°C to get the actual temperature of 80°C and the sticking problems were solved (with glue sticks, but switching to hairspray made a difference when unsealing). Remember, if the bed is tilted 10-15°, increase the hot end! Set it to 260°C and you're good to go. The transparent ink started to discolor so it flowed well at temperatures up to 250°C, but after a few prints it was still not transparent (and still fibrous) like I wanted. the broadcast. the same problems. Found a Brit on YouTube saying PETG likes hot and slow. So, as he recommended, I turn off the fan, keep the temp at 250C, and set all pressure settings to 20mm. WOW! This stuff was day and night! No stretch, perfect layers, it was great. I've printed most of the black roll, from vases to paper towel holders, and this stuff is holding up. I've tried higher speeds and a 260° blend, which is good for detail that doesn't care how it looks, but I won't go over 35mm for good prints. One thing I've noticed is that I do most of my long typing at night. , when my room temperature drops, the strings reappear. We had a storm that dropped us to 15-20F overnight and the print needed a flashlight to clear the spider nest inside. So I think I will build an enclosure to keep the temperature stable. I'll turn the clean back on and try running it slowly and see what happens. Overall great items from this company and I have ordered more colors to complete my collection.
