I wear size 7 New Balance trainers and have a wide foot (width D). I received these shoes in a size 7 1/2 and they fit well. If I went a full size up, they would be too big. I've been spinning for over 7 years and use Shimano road shoes with Look cleats. I recently bought a spin bike for home use with SPD pedals so I just wanted to get something without paying too much. They should do their job, but the build quality is so-so. The shoes are made of synthetic leather, a vinyl-like material that wears out quickly. No comparison to my old Shimano shoes. The bikes at my gym have Look and SPD Petals, so I'll probably use my old running shoes there. This would be good for those who just want to try spinning or don't want to pay too much.
