The pen looks used, the spine is thick, but I still like it.
Pretty decent for a $20 bread knife. A bit thick for a bread knife. Arrived in fully sealed clamshell packaging (annoying) but somehow had a few scuffs on the handle like it was a relaxation item or something. For the price, it doesn't really matter, but it's probably worth mentioning if it matters to you. Basically I bought this because I need an offset bread knife that doesn't look like I nicked it from Jimmy Jones in my set. I'll probably still use my Mercer or Dexter Russell, but who knows, maybe a thick back will work better than I think. Overall the fit is very good.
