These washers worked great for centering the spoked wheel flange washers on the 1/2" shaft of my bench grinder. They fit securely against the innermost stop of the mandrel (which is a slightly larger gap on the mandrel. They fit snugly into the mandrel but are easy to install and remove. This is exactly the solution I needed to mount my spoked wheel. .
