These washers worked great for centering the spoked wheel flange washers on the 1/2" shaft of my bench grinder. They fit securely against the innermost stop of the mandrel (which is a slightly larger gap on the mandrel. They fit snugly into the mandrel but are easy to install and remove. The shoulder on my bench grinder shaft was only 1/16 inch high and the flanges wobble causing the wheels to spin incorrectly. This washer gave over 3/16 inch shoulder height and solved the problem.
