three Apple devices connected!

After Apple released the new iPhone 5, I noticed that it uses more power. I also heard that even Apple is struggling with their chargers for the new iPads and iPhones. I did a lot of research and found that if you have new generation Apple devices, you might want to think twice before buying a USB hub. Few of them indicate whether or not they can charge these new devices. After replacing one of the phones with the new iphone5, we found that our old USB hub wasn't good enough for charging. If you go to the manufacturer's website you will find all the information you need. This BC 1.1 may not be compatible with newer Apple devices, but it does the job of charging. There is a little trick, some Apple devices require the hub's mini USB port to be connected to your Apple computer (who knows why). The important thing is that we have an iphone5, an iphone4s and a first generation. charge ipad. Some reviewers noted that this hub charges their Mac device faster. This is because normal USB 2.0 is limited to 500mA while BC 1.1 can exceed that rate. If new Apple devices were BC 1.1 compatible, I think this little guy could charge faster than the other reviewer mentioned. Anyway, if you want to know more, do your research and head over to pugable.com. There you will find a compatibility list including Apple. So don't build expectations from this product if you own multiple new generation Apple devices. But so far it's the best I could find. If you decide to choose a hub other than this one. Make sure you buy as manufacturers or sellers may not provide the specific information that pugable provides for this product.
