I got this for a 2TB PCIe SSD to be used outside of my laptop. worked fine The package includes a small screwdriver and extra screws (welcome). Opening the device and installing the SSD is not difficult, but it will take some time and effort. When I used the SSD externally and transferred about 1TB, the unit warmed up (but didn't get hot) and worked fine. I like that the case is shaped like a heatsink and has a thermal pad that can be placed on top of the SSD to dissipate heat to the metal part of the case. It comes with a USB-A cable on one end and USB-C on the other end. I've used it with a USB-C cable on both ends and no problems. He transmitted the data quickly. So if there are no problems next year I will say this is a real winner.
