6 years of work, I'm here to replace the same ones here; Details: The pot itself is made of German MFG glass, it's so amazing and the mechanism to open and close the lid is so perfect! Power cord = hardest work I've seen for one of these little appliances = more than unlimited flow to the pot will allow, the cord never gets hotter than lukewarm, that alone makes the kettle that much better, yes we have that same rust mark under the Glass, but it's so slight compared to the quality of the drips when poured - yes, it happens if you pour too quickly. Light very light. Just recently the spring mechanism on the lid broke down drink almost every day back then love it would try another if it got better but this time the chef selection is great
