Review on 🚴 Enhance Your Cycling Experience with Garmin Edge 830: Performance GPS Bike Computer featuring Mapping, Dynamic Performance Monitoring, and Popularity Routing by Ian Iknokinok

2 really big problems (for me)

I'm frustrated for 2 main reasons. 1.) Consequences. I have strong signal drops between the Garmin cadence module and the 830 (which the 830 finds quickly) and the speedbox which is mounted on the classic American back and the 830 (which takes about 2 miles to connect). Two very different times, climbing a big hill, I didn't notice a connection (when I should have been thinking of climbing!). And on another occasion, just before the climb, while checking the data after the ride myself, I noticed that the data jumped from one point to another and a graphical line was drawn where there were no roads. I don't know how to put it so you understand, but there are big gaps in my data, and several times during the ride I noticed that the symbols ▢️ (play) and ⏹️ (stop) appeared on my screen during the very first ones rides. THIS IS NOT GOOD. (Yes, I checked the battery and the contacts on the devices). 2.) After 3 garmins, 305, 705 and now 830 they still didn't give us max travel gradient. Temperature is not the most important attribute of a trip (2 me). I climb mountains! Cursed block defines % when climbing, hello programmers, save the highest number! Is it too much to ask for perfection after paying over $500 for it? get good units. Let's see BUT! Overall I love my Garmins and will buy another one if the need arises. I just wish they would ask customers what we think Garmin's "next generation" needs. It's like I've been waiting for a temperature sensor for literally decades and now I finally have it! YESHOO!
