Review on 💾 8TB WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra Network Attached Storage - NAS - WDBVBZ0080JCH-NESN by Stephen Doyle

Sorry I didn't have the energy to write something more elaborate and detailed, but I'm here to edit my review. This product used to be so bad that I would give it zero stars if I could. Currently? They released new software and firmware for it, thanks to which it works much better. They also completely redesigned the mobile apps for Android and iOS. I wish it was easier to manage sharing options/links, especially when sharing with my friends. I store photos from my trips in it while I'm out and after the trip I send my friend a link to access all our photos and when he tries to download the photos to his iPhone it doesn't show up in the photo . gallery but a file manager where you have to add it to your photo gallery. Very annoying. Apparently she can only view one photo at a time, not a large gallery. It's gotten a lot better, but whoever designed the software and interface behind it, even after all the great improvements, has to go back to design school or something. Yes, I ultimately recommend that, but I'm sure there are better options. However, don't let that stop you from using Western Digital Red discs. I'm sure you can combine this storage class/brand with an even better and more intuitive NAS solution.
