The bits worked great on steel.
I had to lengthen 4 holes in the 3/4" steel plate due to a mounting problem of the screws in the concrete. A conventional grinding head would last forever. I used the largest core drill and all 4 holes were done in less than an hour. In addition, the drill still looks like new. Sharp enough for the next job.
