solid carpet. Holds great in place. Choose it in the size that is ideal for the brickwork of the front door. It's been a few weeks now and it hasn't moved. Let's see how it holds up over the winter. It has a nice profile, not too thin and not too thick. The good proportions give the massive front door a decent reception.
