My power mirrors have not worked on my 2003 F150 for over three years. The digital temperature and direction display also stopped working. I took it to the mechanic who told me that this model is bad at losing ground and that's the problem. I was told it would cost more than it cost to track down loose soil. I then researched the net and found that the pins on this model were often corroded and causing problems with the switches. I started taking the switches out and found that the power mirror switch was indeed corroded, as was the driver's side power window switch. . After clearing the window switch, the window worked fine, but I was never able to clear the mirror switch. I ordered this one and it arrived in two days. Five minutes after receiving it, my mirrors worked. I've also noticed that there are three small diodes in the digital temperature gauge that are losing solder due to the extreme temperature at which they are installed. I took it off, found the problem, soldered it and now it works. I've noticed some people saying pull this switch. DO NOT DO THAT. The part of the armrest where the switches are mounted is very easy to remove by lifting at the front and sliding forward. At this point you can see how the switches are removed by squeezing the clips inside. Very quick and inexpensive repair.
