I bought this as a cheap alternative to comparable metalworking hammers. Head almost flew off. It would have been likely if I hadn't been paying attention and hadn't checked. I put the head back on and added a couple of copper nails at the end to widen the grip in the head. Not worth sending back for this price. bottom line. If you're buying it for real use, spend the extra money and get a quality tool.
