Ball Hammer 2 oz.

I like it, the only thing I wish they could curve the flat side like a real ball head hammer. It's completely flat. But it should work. The round side is perfect. Many Thanks.

Buy something else for hammers

Hammer handle was loosened enough to come out of the hammer head. There was no wedge in the grip. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone serious about working with a hammer this size.

Cons
  • So-so

Disappointed - hand tool

I bought this as a cheap alternative to comparable hammers for metalworking. Head almost flew off. Maybe it would have been if I hadn't been paying attention and hadn't checked. I put the head back on and added a couple of copper nails at the end to widen the grip in the head. Not worth sending back for this price. bottom line. If you're buying it for real use, spend the extra money and get a quality tool.

Pros
  • hand tool
Cons
  • questionable purchase for seniors

The proportions on this hammer are wrong.

The picture is a bit deceptive. The head does not have the standard proportions of a ball hammer. It's really long. also fits very badly. Sears has much better ones for the same price.

Pros
  • Tools and household goods
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

AMAZON HAS AMAZING RETURNS

I have 44+ years experience as a mechanic! The hammer came in two parts. In 2014 we placed 191 orders on Amazon, in 2015 we placed 160 orders. I have never written negative reviews. NON TYPICAL WOOD hammer handle as advertised! The handle is similar in weight and density to a cork oak. I won't use it. AMAZON HAD AN AMAZING RETURN. THE PEN IS NOT MUCH HARDER THAN A #2 GRAPITE PENCIL. I was very loyal to Revane. We live in a very remote area, I would give no stars if it were possible.
