Good product for water filtration and softener
These filters are great for well water. Protects equipment such as softeners etc from being filled with sand in the event of a well collapse. I have been using them for many years and always recommend installing them on well water. The transparent case allows you to see the particles coming out of the well, but when installed outdoors, it also becomes clogged with oxidized iron and even algae. They can be used to introduce chlorine into plumbing when it needs to be disinfected. A good product.
