5' 7' 155lbs, Get the Black Bands for Exercises

For starters I got the black band. The reason I wanted this is because I was in an area temporarily and didn't want to commit myself to a gym. I do love weight lifting but I hadn't done so for nearly a year and I just didn't want to pay for starting and ending and new member fees. I just wanted to get fit but without the hassle that gyms usually demand. I also lived in a house that wasn't mine and would only be traveling to and fro through plane. I didn't want to buy any weights for myself, not even dumbbells, because I wouldn't be able to fly back home with those and even if I could I had some at home. The black bands were pretty good for me. I use them for exercises, not to supplement exercises. What I mean by that is that I use them to do my bicep/tricep/and shoulder exercises, not to help me do an easier pull up. With that in mind, if you're going to use them for purposes such as me, you need to get the right resistance weight and the chart isn't going to help you. At this point it's all about what resistance you can take.I am 5'7' and weight 155lbs. I have been going to the gym on and off for about 3 years now. Full clothed you could tell I'm not fat and more on the lean muscular side, but I'm not that toned at all. So if you're in my position, the black bands would be right for you. I could have even gotten away with the red bands honestly. If I did, I would be able to do a lot more reps than I am doing now. I am very glad I didn't go for anything more than a black because I wouldn't be able to handle them.If you want more resistance you can always shorten the range you're letting yourself have by stepping on more of the band before lifting up, but you can't have less resistance than what the band offers you.
