Does what it's supposed to do well.

Having read many other reviews on here I think it's important to point out what they are and what they are supposed to do. These are neoprene fin socks that you wear to avoid chafing of the hard fins when swimming/diving. These are not tabi/reef shoes/diving shoes/pool shoes. I will be glad if these 6-12 months are used every other day. If you wear them like shoes, they will fall apart. It's just not what they were designed for and it's not fair to give them bad marks, just as it would be unfair to give a motorcycle bad marks when it's worn out if you're using it to tow a camper van. So far they have worked great, no. Blisters, etc. After a few weeks of almost constant use, no damage was evident. The build quality is good, no stitching etc. The fit is perfect, size 12ft, I'm a size 11-13 x large. Much cheaper than our local dive center! They don't have rubber soles (another key to them being nothing more than fin socks), so they don't make putting on the fins any more difficult than some others, but they also don't offer any real protection or traction. They insist on using them as shoes. Colored stitching also makes it easy to see who's who, a nice touch!
