A few months ago I decided to take the Five Strands Human Food Intolerance Test. The results were insane - I had pages and pages of products I couldn't eat. I was skeptical at first as many of these seemed 'healthy' to me - peppers, oranges etc. However, once I eliminated them from my diet I felt much better. I then believed in this company and have recommended it to many people ever since. When I saw that they also have a line for dogs I was excited to try them on mine as he is such an important part of the family! The test was easy to perform - I just took a very clean brush and picked up a handful of hairs right from the base of his ears (or whatever the instructions said - I can't remember exactly what it was since it was a few weeks ago is). . ). Then I put it in a small envelope, put it in a bag, sealed the envelope and sent it off. This test seemed to take longer to receive and process than my human test (although this could definitely be due to current circumstances beyond anyone's control), but I still got reasonable results. His list was much shorter than mine - just six items, two for each category (red, yellow, and green, indicating seriousness). But I definitely believe it as one of his items on his red list was vitamin C and when I look at the dog food we usually give him it's not there. I am happy to change his diet a bit to give him the nutrients he needs in the hope that this will make him healthier and live longer. So far I am very satisfied with the results. I recommend this company, it really helped my family.
